Being dragged back to her room at high speed had put Chusa in a bit of a foul mood. She didn't like being handled like that and only the knowledge that her captors were far better equipped (with the drugs she'd experienced enough of) kept her quiet.

The voice over the comm system was interesting. Thought he should be equated to a god did he? If this was supposed to be a place to tend the maladies of the mind, then the man was in the right place, just on the wrong side of the transmitter.

Chusa used a slightly roughend and sharpened end of one of the pieces of her bed to cut the pillowcase into strips in order to bind the oversized handlight to her arm, using the flexband that held the writing styluses together for tension. It would enable her to keep her hands free, still see in the blackness, plus provide a bit of armor to her left arm for blocking. A little time breaking one of the styluses apart to serve as a crude tool allowed Chusa to unscrew enough of her bed to provide her with a basic and crude short staff.

Pausing at the door, she evaluated herself. She was still injured, she'd be a bit slow with attacks and she'd need to watch her footing, lest the bruises on her feet tripped her up. Not as good as she'd like to be, but functional. Time to go ba'balut and discover what this place held in store.
