Without the light of any other flashlights, it was quite hard to see in the pitch-black darkness. Instead, Xemnas listened. Listened for any sounds that could betray the presence of something within the darkness, a creature waiting to sink its teeth into unsuspecting pray.
All he heard was his own breathing. Flipping on his flashlight, the Nobody met the sight of an empty hallway, taking note of the two doors. Heading to the one closest to him, the Superior pulled at the door handle only to discover it, too, was locked. However, the lock proved to be a weak one, not too difficult to be broken.
Breaking the door open by the appropriate amount of force, Xemnas found himself in the next room. The small beam of the flashlight provided the Superior with enough light to investigate this rather small room.
He took note of the signs that decorated the white-tiled wall, along with the shower nuzzles and the yellow barrels. After approaching them, he briefly investigated the barrels, wondering what kind of substance would be stored in them. However, the Superior could not determine anything for certain. He knew better than to randomly investigate strange substances, as the substance could be either chemical or even poison. He cast another look around the room, also taking note of the bio-hazard suits and the oxygen tanks. It seemed there was nothing that could be of direct use here, yet the information was stored away for later use.
Approaching the only other door in the room, he was surprised to discover it unlocked.
