Nightshift 24: M1

Otacon wished good luck to Roy when his roommate departed, and finished the rest of tonight's preparations in minutes, leaving him with plenty of time to wait around for Snake. Last night, he'd spent hours in this room waiting for Fox - nothing had happened to him, thankfully, but Otacon found himself worrying the same way he did last night. Except this time, less than five minutes had passed.

You shouldn't worry so much. Didn't Fox say that only a few hours ago? Of course, it'd be easier if the intercom hadn't just mentioned visitors and a "special round of counselling." Who else from the past might they send to see him? What if Snake or Fox or someone else he'd met had been taken by the nurses tonight?

He needed something to do, or else he was going to drive himself crazy with his own imagination. There was always something whenever he had a computer at hand. If they could only find one here, then maybe Otacon could find them some answers.

But first things first.

Otacon sat down on his bed, and turned to the box next to him. "You're in good hands, you know. I promise my friend will treat you right."

snake, otacon
