He had not put on his flashlight, as it would attract unwanted attention. The Superior didn't want any unnecessary distractions, after all

At first glance, the shed seemed to hold various gardening items. However, the amount of useful and sharp items seemed a little disappointing. The only item that was only slightly promising was the weeding claw, and the Superior had serious doubt the item was sharp enough to do some decent damage. Perhaps the trimmer, as its scissor-like blades looked decently sharp, would be more useful.
However, the Nobody didn't get very far in his investigation as he heard thumping noises making its way across the courtyard. The thumps became louder and louder which each second that passed, indicating that something was heading into his direction. Whether it was because of the sound he'd made or something else entirely, he didn't knew. But whatever it was that was nearing, it was nearing quickly.

Picking up the trimmer, the Superior hurried outside and saw the faint outline of a large shape coming closer with each thump. The light the flashlight provided was just enough to make out the large triangle-shaped helmet into the darkness.
Xemnas didn't need a better indication of exactly what was nearing him. He'd seen the creature a few nights before, but now there were no distractions. Despite the fact the Nobody couldn't experience the primal emotion known as fear, he knew that this was a rather unfortunate turn of events.

But now was not the time to observe it, as the creature had taken the Nobody as its new target. However, Xemnas had no intention to be impaled on its spear. Even though the Superior was curious about what exactly he was dealing with, he preferred not to be on the receiving end of it.
Fighting it would be suicide, though. The Superior had no information regarding its nature or its weakness. But such wasn't needed to conclude that this abomination wasn't like the other ones lurking in the darkness. No, this was something far more...higher.
An attempt to flee might be his only chance. There was no time to climb the wall, however, meaning that the doors leading to the cafeteria were his best bet. Xemnas had a perfect memory, meaning he knew exactly where these doors were. Now there was merely the problem was making sure to remain out of the monster's clutches, as it was quite the distance.
Not wasting any more time (the creature was dangerously close now), he sprinted into the direction of the cafeteria.

Slowly, he turned his entire body to look at the other group, huddled near the wall of the courtyard where the ivy hung thick.
And then he started moving again.
This time, towards them.

But it was only after he had reached the now open door of the cafeteria he looked back, back to see whether the creature still followed.
The creature with the pyramid-shaped helmet had found another prey however, as the Superior noticed it moving to the courtyard. Xemnas had no intention of needlessly lingering, however, so he proceeded to go inside.
[ooc; Lucky little bastard isn't he? XD]
