In other words, Scott was moving fast. He blamed Candy Land for his thinking in board game metaphors. Where was Wichita tonight, anyway, he wondered? Maybe he would see her on her way out of the girls' block tonight as well.
For some reason, that thought made him a little uncomfortable when putting it in the context of waiting for Ramona.
Scott tried not to think about why, and just continued sprinting down the hall until he reached the door he needed.
