Still, it worked out. This was more secure, and maybe if he had access to something like a gun, then he'd know some answers. Things like that weren't easily found, and neither was the ammo. It was an encouraging sign, to say the least.
But he wasn't going to open up too much. Riku didn't want to give him any further idea that he was some kind of charmer. The very idea was ludicrous. "Riku," he answered simply. There was a cutting, smart remark somewhere in there about the very idea of "bosom friends," but he kept it to himself. If this guy was going to make plays like that, then it clearly meant that he didn't think they'd be anything like that. Good, then this might work out like his prior engagements more than he expected.
"You?" It was a question posed as he continued on down the hallway, without any regard for wasting time. They just had to continue down further, after all.
