“Well,” Jack Horner mused, as he opened his eyes, “The ground certainly got more comfortable overnight.” Glancing about, he was quick to realize this was not the hard, dusty terrain he had settled down upon the night before. Instead, he found himself in an generic institution room and in a rather unflattering outfit.

“What the hell?” He grumbled, tugging at the front of his shirt to get a better look at the smiley face that stared back. This had to be Revise's doing. That man was undoubtedly unhappy with Jack after the mass jailbreak he had organized. Hell, he had even told the prodigal Fable that he was going to take it upon himself to emasculate him. Though these gay clothes were certainly an odd way of going about it.

Jack looked around the room. The accommodations were less cushy than the last time he had been at the Golden Boughs (which had only been a few days, granted). Instead of a whole cottage to himself, Jack now appeared to have a whole jail cell to himself. Except, maybe not, he frowned, noting the carbon copies of his bed and desk across the room. Obviously he was sharing a jail cell with another escapee (much to his chagrin). Maybe he was staying with Goldilocks. That could be fun...

Actually, no, it would be awkward. He would have to find a new ass to tap. There was the sound of a lock turning. Jack arched an eyebrow as the door swung open and a woman in a nurse outfit walked in. It wasn't one of the Page sisters or a familiar Librarian, but she ambled in with the same authoritative stride that said, “I'm the one in charge around here”. Well, this was an added bonus. Another dumb broad to provide him with entertainment until he could weasel his way out of this situation.

“So,” Jack smirked, laying on the charm, “Revise certainly has a strange idea of punishment. Are we going to play 'doctor'?”

The nurse didn't seem to appreciate his advances. “I'm here to take you to lunch, Mr. Trick.”

'Trick'? This nurse was a Mundy, then. Maybe this place had nothing to do with Revise. Time to change gears, lest he give his true nature away.

“Lunch, eh? Where exactly am I?” What interest did this Mundy have with him? He tried to keep a low profile...generally. The nurse ushered him up from the bed.

“You're in a hospital, Mr. Trick Come, let's go.”

Jack allowed himself to be led from the room. “Hospital, huh?” Well, this was an unexpected turn of events...
