Of course Stefan would've checked up on Wally. No surprises there after the guy had had a run-in with Damon, a fact Stefan no doubt had learned from Alaric. Damon's interest in Wally remained, but it hadn't been enough for him to go out of his way today to actually find him. Especially not since Rick had solved that little issue with

Badd shone the flashlight up the stairs as they entered. After a moment's thought he also checked the dark corners, the walls, and the ceiling just to make sure no gigantic bugs were hiding somewhere that a human couldn't.
"It got down to the wire. The whole thing came to a head about three days before my retirement, when the ring started getting twitchy. There was also his wanting to hear more details on Calisto, Kay, Cohdopia's civil war, the power struggle... Heck, he wanted more details on everything. But first, before more chastising or explanations occurred, maybe they should get out of this stairwell. That would kind of be a good idea right now.
Byrne turned back around to start walking again, sighing softly. "I get you, Badd, I know - and that was damn dangerous of you, too - but can you just--I don't know--start over?" Normally he could handle hearing ninety details a second, but not now. He could only dwell on one bad thing at a time.
