Scott doubted he would need a weapon if he moved quickly enough, but if his time in the Institute had taught him anything, it was that it never hurt to be careful. That and to irrationally hate smiley faces, but being careful was a good life lesson too

It was amazing how much a decent meal could lift one's mood. Though still worn from the battering he'd taken against Scott and peeved the soldiers had kept him from even beginning to think about stealing while in town, Guybrush couldn't help but feel better after a good dinner, especially when the alternative was so incredulously unappetizing. They'd be back to the pink goop at breakfast, but for that night, they were kings

While it would have been an excellent thing for Brook to have passed out for the night following a wonderful day in town, he had to remember that he had things to do. As usual he would be checking in with Sai in case the young man needed anything, but for the rest - there were always those who needed help in the place. New people, ones without a sense of direction, ones who somehow always ended up being monsters targets... the list was endless
