Scott doubted he would need a weapon if he moved quickly enough, but if his time in the Institute had taught him anything, it was that it never hurt to be careful. That and to irrationally hate smiley faces, but being careful was a good life lesson too

He was feeling so much better that he decided to expand his inventory from the previous night, taking not only the sword and flashlight, but also the radio and his sash- he'd felt admittedly naked the night before with only the bare essentials, which was a major feat for someone who had bathed in the almost-nude only a few feet away from his nemesis. It was funny how eye-opening it could be to not carry his entire of potentially useful odds and ends in his pants.
Items collected, Guybrush headed for the door. Who needed an announcement as an ominous prelude of things to come when one was setting out to take on the world? He knew what he had to do that night: meet Mo, get files, find a way to town, prepare to take Landel and/or Aguilar down (preferably in that order).
