Admittedly, Snow was a little less anxious tonight than he usually was since he hadn't spent all day cooped up inside, nursing pent up fury for hours on end. But he was still happy as hell to get out of that room so he could go out an do something. He didn't even wait. Snow only hung around long enough to throw up a hand and offer a quick farewell comment to his new roommate before heading out. The guy was plenty spirited, which he liked. He was sure the guy'd be alright for the night. ...Maybe he'd remember to ask about that later.

Well, now he had to go out exploring. Carter gathered up his crowbar and flashlight, grinning eagerly. He just needed to find a traveling companion and they'd be on their way.

And not only were Lightning's suspicions confirmed - Snow clearly wasn't here in the hallway - but almost as soon as she'd stepped down the oppressively-dim path, the dull background noise of the intercom picked back up- in what Lightning now swiftly recognized as the sign of an imminent and abrupt end to the night.
Curse words she hardly ever acknowledged knowing swelling up in the front of her mind, she made to hit the wall with her sword, but realized at the last moment that she didn't know what the metal was and couldn't risk damaging it. Instead she turned with a drawn out, frustrated groan, smacking into the wall with her back so that her shoulder blades stung with the blow... then did it again as the heavily-accented voice of the 'General' continued and then cut off.
It was the last thing she remembered before everything once more went black.
