It was no surprise that the other man brought up the question that everyone should have been asking, though. As Harvey took the card out of his pocket and clutched it in his hand, he couldn't help feeling like he was dealing with blood money. Then again, not using it would be the same as shooting himself in the foot, so at this point it was just a matter of finding something worthwhile.
Or maybe he really would just spend it all on booze. That beat a massage any day.
"It might be another test," he said after a pause. "This Aguilar guy seems interested in judging our value, so that probably means that he's watching to see who is the most creative with what they buy and how they use it." Which meant that he wouldn't be earning a lot of points if he just drank through his fifteen dollars, but Harvey hardly cared what the general thought of him in the first place.
"How much do you have, anyway?" he asked with a slight tilt of his head.
