Beelzemon stopped as he neared the doors to the Sun Room, a look about as close to thoughtful as he ever got crossing his face. The last time he'd seen all those soldier boys running around was in the cafeteria, but they probably weren't there now. There was always something in the Sun Room, but it probably wouldn't be something he'd

This isn't anyone's world... That sentence distressed Facilier more than he could tolerate, twisting tight knots in his stomach and kicking his heartbeat out of rhythm. Facilier always had the upper hand in his world, with all his power, his artifacts and his connections to his otherworldly friends -- Until those so-called friends dropped him off here.
A strident shout, followed by a sharp clanging of swords stole away with Facilier's attention. A flash of red briefly glowed from a central door up ahead, casting a scarlet shadow to briefly trail down the dark floor. Both witch doctor and Shadow stretched their necks out towards the source of the commotion. Wait a second... Wasn't that coming from the sun room?
"What in the blazes is going on in there?" he asked, his voice a hoarse whisper as his instincts twitched between fear and curiosity. That couldn't have been the soldiers from earlier, could it? Yet Facilier was quick to recall that the guards wielded no swords, and he was quite sure he had heard what sounded to be blades clashing together.
Smooth as a shadow, Facilier inched his way towards the entrance to the sun room, his long fingers crawling over the door as he carefully peeked into the clamor going on inside. What he spotted only affirmed his disbelief that this could not have just been some chaotic dream: Two individuals, barely visible in the dark beneath the moonlit room and the red blaze of a fiery sword, were engaged in a battle of shouting and slashing blades (or was that one man fighting with a hook?); it was yet another bizarre situation Facilier had witnessed so far, and in this case he wasn't so sure about getting involved. For one thing, the one with the blazing sword didn't look to be quite right in the head there...
Repressing a squeaky little gasp, Facilier quickly drew back from the door, flattening himself against the wall and shooting an accusing look at Carter. "Now don't you be telling me that this is the only way you know of for getting outside?" he hissed as more crashing of weapons echoed from behind.

"I think we can sneak past while they're fighting," he whispered insistently, leaning against the doorframe while Facilier tried to retreat. "We need to get through this room to the other side." Carter was pretty sure he'd seen at least one of those guys in the cafeteria. He'd heard about this, people getting brainwashed into fighting other prisoners. It had happened to Miss Aigis too and she hadn't meant to hurt anyone. Maybe they could just make a run for it.
...so if this was what was in location number one, the Sun Room, what was in all the other locations? More brainwashed patients with glowing swords and a bad temper? Carter really hoped not or Doctor Facilier would be pretty upset with him for leading them into another fight.

Yet if those two were that absorbed in their battle, then perhaps they could sneak by unmolested! Facilier knew he could creep his way through the shadows without a problem, but what about his accomplice? If all goes to worse, Facilier would simply have to leave Carter behind...
Finally, Facilier gave out a sigh, his hand brushing the sweat off his forehead. "Alright! If you're so sure this will lead us outside..." he grumbled, peeling himself off the wall to stand behind Carter.
He then gave Carter a light shove towards the door. "You go first, since you know the way!" he whispered before adding with another one of his charming smiles, "I'll be right behind you..."

"On the count of three, we run down the side of the room that they're not on." Apparently the pair had decided to make their last stand near the couches for some reason. Carter pointed out the appropriate room side, in case of confusion, and nervously licked his lips. "Ready? And one...two..."
The two stretched out as Carter watched that sword whip through the air. No idea what kind of magic indeed, and if there were shadows around or rats or---
"Three!" Carter forced out, and he launched himself through the doorway.
