Why do you want to know about head trauma?

The nurses here said I suffer from head trauma.

I guess it's not I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I get hit in the head a lot...

I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.

I told you not to listen to the nurses. They always say stupid stuff like that.

You're not suffering from head trauma, dummy.

Well

[Dozens of marks are started to think positively, but Ippo succumbs to his insecurities.]

But how do you know?

It's a big problem among pros when you get older. I'm only 19, but my coach says I get hit too much already!

What if this place is just a delusion? A side effect?!

What if I actually do need help!

I'm totally a jock! Well, in that way in which no one worth their salt believes I'm a jock? But that's besides the point.

Anyway I did headbutt this one guy into coin oblivion a few months back, though. That hurt for a while.

Oh

So you don't play any kind of physical sport or--

[Not sure how to take that "coin" comment.]

Are we talking real head butt or were you playing at the arcade?

I played hockey at one point. In grade two

And real head butt. Fake ones don't really get the job done, I've noticed.

Do you fight a lot or was it just self-defense?

I suppose you could call me an athlete of sorts. Although what I do isn't for sport.

We used to play ball games back at the stalag. Volleyball, throwing baseballs, soccer, that kind of thing. Why, are you gonna start up a team?

Oh no! Nothing like that, I just wanted to know who played any sports around here. Professionally I mean!

I was hoping to find some common interest I suppose.

Uh

Yeah. I wanted to know whether anyone else suffered from head trauma because of a sport, but any way would do I guess.

So if, say, your head's previously exploded, that'd count?
