Have you seen the new robots yet? At least, the toy images that have been shown?

I don't make complaints about something without backing it up. Yes, I've seen the images and read many articles regarding the new robots with the same names. ;)

I suppose a better question would be: Are you willing to accept that the Transformers upcoming movie is not going to look the same as they did in G1, or are you going to complain, kick and scream that they aren't?

I'm probably not going to see it. Ignoring any changes they've done with the characters, I don't care for the other aspects I've heard of the movie, and I really don't care for Michael Bay (or any of his previous movies). It's great that they got Peter Cullen and Frank Welker to do the voices of their iconic characters again, and I'm sure the special effects will be fantastic, it'll be a visually stunning film, but I'm also pretty sure the script (the writers don't have anything impressive to their names), directing, and probably the acting as well, aren't going to be anything super. I likes me some internal consistency with my movies, and I doubt Michael Bay's ability to make that work
