"Mankind must put an end to war, or war will put an end to mankind...War will exist until that distant day when the conscientious objector enjoys the same reputation and prestige that the warrior does today."

If the last 5 great wars of American History, Vietnam, Korean, WWII, WWI, and Civil War , did not happen the U.S. population would be around the one billion mark. The world population would be hovering around the 12 billion compared to only 6 billion today. Luckily for us disease and famine would be running ramped. So I ask what would you rather have Controlled death by conflict or uncontrolled devastation and death of the planet?

Are you saying that war is necessary for population control? Really? Is that what you're saying? That's just ridiculous to me. Famine and pestilence are nature's way of thinning the heard and evolving. Our way involves destroying other species along with our own. We drop bombs that kill indiscriminately and use chemicals that scorch the landscape for centuries. Our military industrial complex has destroyed countless habitats and invented the most insidious petro-chemical agents and biological weapons on the planet.
Which would you rather get? Cancer or a smart bomb that kills half your family and leaves you in a wheelchair for the rest of your war torn existence.
Kennedy believed that man's true nature is not to be at war. He was shot in the head by a small group of people who disagreed.
P.S. Did you really use the term "Controlled Death"? 'Cause that's just fucked up man.
