I feel mean, but my housemate's boyfriend needs to go home.
He's a post-graduate student in studying in England. She's a student here in the States. He's only here for three weeks, and I get that. I can forgive the fact that her room is right above mine and her bed is really squeaky. I can forgive a lot. I mean, she did ask if we were okay with it, but she never specified an exact length of time and I think we all figured 3 days, a week at most. Three weeks is different.
But it is getting OLD. It's just...somehow tiring for him to be here ALL THE TIME. They're ALWAYS in the kitchen and there's some serious third-wheel feeling, even if I'm just in there to make some tea or pour myself a bowl of cereal. I just...I can't particularly justify it. He's a nice, polite guy and they're quite respectful and generally it shouldn't be a huge deal.
But he just needs to leave. Three weeks is TOO LONG.
