they found my car!1
with 3 little nasty dirtbags. two were 17, the driver was 6 days from 18. I'm pressing charges.
A lot of crap is missing from the car but i retrieved my paycheck stubs and tax returns. and my nova folder.
backpack is missing, purse and passport is missing.
they found the car cuz these assholes ran a redlight over in the ghetto and deputy corless pulled them over. he ran the tag and noticed it was reported stolen. there was pot all over the car. Their story was that i was drunk an hour prior and gave them my car key (because the spare was in hte middle console). That's my fault but I learned a lesson and it's all hindsight now. but so the deputy started to believe him because all their stories matched up. he called me on the phone around 8:30 pm and he's like Crystal? And he probably thought that i was a nutjob cause i told him my phone was dying and to call corey's and at first he sounded hesitant but he did. he sounded kinda angry and anyway i went down there where the car was and the three little dirtbags were there. he took me to the side and asked me questions if iw as drinking and all this shit and they took corey to the side and asked him if i was with him last night and all this bullcrap. of course i was. their story doesn't match up cause the car was reported stolen at 7:30 am. long story short, i had to go down to the police station to give a recorded statement with the detective. The detective ends up knowing nonna and her husband who is an attorney and I've actually bumped into him before because he comes into our pharmacy when we have fake xanax scripts called in. anyways, he's leaving for a cruise so i told him it was ok to keep my car until he gets back on monday when he'll release my car to me but today the investigation team is taking finger prints and what not off my car. we went down to my car to get a few things out of it to which we found a receipt with someone else's name on it (not one of the 3 dirt bags) for a motel6. we also found a female flip flop in the car as well. the car is filthy inside and out but i'm going to get it detailed and disinfected. he said to write down every single thing and keep every receipt of things i have to pay for as a result of their actions because i'm entitled to reimbursement from them or their parents. anyways, i'm so thankful to deputy corless.. all these police for stepping up and helping me out. there was baout 7 cops on the scene when i got there. i'm sooo happy my car is retrieved. they're saying they might have an out because these kids can say oh well id idnt know the car was stolen cause he had a key. whatever now i need to go call my adjustor and let her know my car was found.
I am truly thankful to GOD. My little angel on my rearview mirror was still there and hanging there dangling the quote "TRY GOD." The police were completely shocked that this car was reported stolen only 12 hours ago and they said it is so extremely rare and not only that, bu to find it all intact. they said i'm truly lucky. I say it's God looking out for his people.
Yet another miracle God performs. I feel like I just had a day long conversation with God.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
