(no subject)
So yesterday I was taking care of this lady. She was picking up birth control, to be exact. And she had this baby in her stroller. He kinda looked like something was wrong mentally or physically, but I don't know nor does it matter. So this child was there with its pacifier, all content and just looked so cute. Maybe one years old or less, but I decided to wave at him and smile and say Hi. I love children and I love taking care of patients when they have babies cause they put a little light in my day. Especially with all the doom and gloom, abuse and death I'm surrounded by everyday. And this child smiled SO BIG that his pacifier fell out and he turned red and I did the same thing and I kept saying hi and laughing and waving. Oh how adorable. I love children and can't wait til it's my turn. And once I finished ringing them up, Nonna (pharmacist) looked over at me and she's like, "Let me guess, there's a baby there?" I laughed and said yes and she's like, "I can tell with your laugh around children!" She always sees me interacting with patients' children and she always says I'm going to be such a good mom and that I'm so ready to be a mom. She hit the nail on the head! I can't wait but I need to first get married and then at least be in my third year of school before I get pregnant. It makes me sad cause everyone around me is having children and I always watch baby story, but oh well my day will come!
I was thinking, though, since I won't be able to work a normal job during school because of my schedule, that maybe I could pick up a baby sitting job on nights. That would be freaking ideal. I'm going to pray about it and hopefully something pops up someday. I just can't imagine being in school and not working since I'm so used to this lifestyle now.
Anyways I have to work this god-awful shift 4-10pm tonight and then get up at 7am to go to class all morning. The good news is that corey and I are going to go look at two more properties with the realtor on saturday after my class. I can't wait... we found 3 great places the only thing is that they're all short sales so we're just going to make offers on all of them and see which comes back first. I just can't wait til we have our own place. I don't care for roommates and I want us to have a "HOME" with the decorations we keep dreaming about together and looking at at Home Depot and Expo.
Church Sunday. I'm excited. We're doing this worship series. I truly love it. It's almost like the feel of the communion nights on Wednesday except every Sunday. I loooove church, God, Christ. Speaking of which, did you watch the quarterback of the UF game during the championship? Talk about a man of faith. He writes scripture under his eyes in white on the black marks. During the championship game last night, he wrote John under his right eye and 3:16 under his left. He gets mocked for it but you know what? The NFL wants him, he's received the Heismann and he's also pretty much let the world witness when he gave a speech after their first losing game and then now they won the championship. He's inspirational. Anyways gotta shower and dry my hair and all thatttttt....
