Through all these difficult times I have been personally having in my life, God has really stepped up to show me that he is still with me. Though just a few weeks ago I hadn't attended church in a while, and I felt that I was no longer protected by God(what the Devil tries to put in your mind), God still took me up under his wing and protected me and made sure I knew in a major way. It's too much to type and go through but all I have to say is that He is amazing. Life is not FUN until you are on God's side. He has provided me with a brand new car. Not a used car, not an 08, but a BRAND new 2009 Mazda3 with payments $30 below what I was pre-approved for, an interest rate 1.25% LOWER than what I was pre-approved for and $30 LOWER than what I was quoted for my car insurance. Everything is SO REASONABLY affordable at this point. I am ecstatic, happy and so in Love and thankful to God. I'm in love with my car, too! On another note, though I am currently broke, I really needed my windows tinted, but Corey surprised me saturday at work by tinting my windows and leaving me a little love note =) I love him. We've been seriously talking about marriage and we picked out our honey moon place, which I don't want to tell anyone because it's extremely exquisite and no one really knows about it. We are both really excited about going there at some point in our future =) And he told me last night basically that he's going to ask me the big question soon. But he wont tell me when. I have a feeling it's going to be on our one year =) It's been four months since we've been official but really 5-6 months dating. He has really stepped up for me. I am so busy every single day of my life but he has stepped up. He's been cooking and cleaning and taking care of stuff that he knows I can't do right now. I feel bad but I have to take care of school first.

We both went to church yesterday. I think he definitely took a message home with him. It's Pastor Gary's new series titled "Tackling the Money Monster." I think Corey's perspective that the church just wants your money changed when pastor gary explained how he's starting a neighborhood partnership and basically a bunch of companies are coming together to give us discounts on services and items through September-October to help alleviate some of the financial stress put on people. One item on the list-- that caught Corey's eye, or everyone's eye I should say -- was the 10% off on gas at a Mobil gas station in town. Corey even suggested putting in a coupon for his dad's business (air conditioning) like 10% off services. I think he definitely took a message home with him yesterday. I asked him but he didn't say anything. He said he was daydreaming! Haha sure! I know him! I'm happy we went to church though.

This stupid hurricane ike. I wish it came towards us because I could really use the time off to catch up on Organic chemistry notes and physics studying. We have a test in physics on Wednesday and in bio but bio is a joke. I dont know what is going on in physics and I am getting really aggravated. It doesn't help that my professor is a turret's syndrome whack job that thinks he's funny. He doesn't realize that he has lost the entire class because he deviates off topic so much and cracks corny jokes. I'm just extremely aggravated with the whole situation but i'm going to study later today. after his class.

Anyways, all in all i'm glad to say that I know God is still with my entire family and I think the message on Sunday pretty much told us that we're about to get blessed but God wants us to remember HIS word because that is the WHOLE point of this trial and tribulation. God is so amazing. Never ceases me. WHAT A GIFT to be a believer!!!!!

Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.
And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’” -Luke 4:1-4
