eustaciavye; AND ALSO I received the charming and heartwarming Two Gardens (hints of Mara/Inanni) from

Dorinda! :D Embarrassingly, I'd never actually watched The Sting before, despite having read Dorinda's own excellent fics for it. But that was easily remedied (about five times over, because my god, Paul Newman and Robert Redford are pretty I knew I was going to need to get the voices just right!), and the perfect plot for a fake dating story walked up and introduced itself, and we were off. This was enormously rewarding to write, and the response has been very kind! (Incidentally: this is where I got almost all of my information on Scollay Square, and the businesses in operation at and around it during the time period right after The Sting!)

Oh, look, another extremely self-indulgent f/f music video fic. /o\ :D This was a blast to write, even if it got a) quite a bit longer and b) a little bit more horror-tinged than I was expecting. And when I say quite a bit longer, I mean it - I'd originally meant for this to be the first thing in a five-things fic, but, uh, 10k seemed like it could probably stand on its own. Maybe I can add the other four things on as additional parts in a series, this year.

(Not quite so long this time! I managed to restrain myself a little bit.) After writing from Nikko's POV last time, I decided to try Cal's this time, but somehow I still ended up writing about poking around in people's minds unexpectedly.
I still have some commenting to do, yikes, but it's always such great fun working my way through the collection. ♥ YULETIDE ♥
