There it goes again

I really did hope I'd get back here sooner than this, but it seems that this is my lot. I am doomed to be a pathetically-infrequent-LiveJournal-er. If titles were ranked by number of letters, I'd probably win. Go figure. In the meantime, another three months have gone by. So much for my hope that I'd get back here sooner. I'll try to update more often, but I make no guarantees.

Summer is in full swing now. I has been mild for the most part, for which I am grateful. I've been spending a lot of time traveling, which I always love. Italy is easily one of my favorite spots on the planet, and when I'm not swamped with work, it makes a great place to get away from it all. I rather love it. I'm thinking of buying a place there, but I don't know where exactly yet. There are so many wonderful options!

I was in the States in time for the Fourth of July. I spent the afternoon on a nice little beach at Lake Sunapee, where it was actually pretty quiet. I guess the public beaches might have been noisier, but the one I saw didn't look too bad. I spent my time on a more secluded spot, and enjoyed the late-day sun.

I miss Italy, though. I loved being in Italy. I'll have to make a point to get back there again soon. You can never get enough of Italy.

I managed to finish off a bunch of projects back in the spring, and then took off for my get-away to unwind. I came back to find another big project ahead of me, though, so I'll be busy with that for a while. I have no idea how much I'll need to do for this new project. I just know it's big. We'll see how it goes.

I've got another weekend coming up on me, and I'm trying to figure out what to do this time. I may head to New York. I was only there briefly a few weeks ago, and I could use a bit more time there to catch up with people. I haven't had time to keep in touch too well lately.

So there it is. My current summer life in a few brief paragraphs. Time to head back out for a bit of sun.
