Today is weird.
Before I went to bed last night, I realized my baby girl (
Azure, so named for her eyes) isn't eating at all any more. She's sensitive around her haunches, and I've seen her at the litter boxes but not using them. She's prone to bowel problems, and I think she's got an obstruction or serious problem.

I choose to live in the same place we did, so I choose to deal with them and press forward.
My résumé is, indeed, out there. I have two leads I am working. One is in downtown Dallas (which I prefer for many reasons), and the other is my youngest sister's company only two exits up the highway from here. Even if neither of those work, something will pan out. I've got a good bounce.
I thought you might like to know about the overnight play date. After that first introduction they really have been good to each other. They're mingling all day today. Mom is supposed to call if there's a tussle.
Azure has a great doctor. She's in good hands. I think this is probably serious constipation. She has issues. I may have to go back to feeding her mineral oil.
I'll give them all your love (the love of the whole Jedi/Wolf clan...if I may) and let you know how things are going.
Oh! Murphy got his first taste of wet food last night. My mother didn't know any better. He got an equal portion and then ate Azure's, so the little sneak got 1/4 can. He always goes straight for Kairo's bowl when he comes out.
I also had to stave Kairo off Murphy's dish this morning. That food will do his kidneys harm. I imagine he was mostly responsible for Murphy's empty dish overnight. I'll train them away from each other's food, and then I'll have to take measures to keep them out of each other's bowl. Azure may have her own food, too...three separate feeding areas.
Never dull in my pride!
