A busy day today, and not much time for updates . . . but just quickly, the vet visit went well for the feral kitties, but, as predicted, it's been a rough time emotionally (and physically) for the little guys. For the second day in a row, my flight out has been a no-go (the first time due to weather conditions, this second time due to a mechanical error that couldn't be fixed in time to get me to Boise for my connecting flight). So, it was Mother's Day last weekend, and after a visit with her stepdaughter, my roommate countessaleska  brought home an unexpected (but really cool) Mom's Day gift: a hand-knitted Dalek washcloth!  I thought it was so cool, I had to post it here.  Since the Dalek design is texture-only, I took two pictures, one with and one without the flash.
