Aaaah, I'm gonna skip tagging anyone. Most of my f-list has been tagged by someone else already.
I'll put this under a cut, which I probably shoulda' done with the last one, really . . .
1. Got a blue ribbon at the county fair this year for my sugared almonds.
2. The same day I got the ribbon, I was carded in earnest for booze at the grocery store. When you're 37, it's kinda' entertaining.
3. Lovely clear, warm, sunny, Bradbury-esque fall day today -- after a week of cold, dumping rain.
4. Got to show some talented young lads a few useful polearm tricks at the historical group's combat practice tonight, and they learned them quickly, effectively, and appreciatively.
5. It was payday Friday, so I could go crazy at the grocery store today (well, not that crazy, but I bought a few treats).
6. Everyone who tried them liked the raisin-and-grape tarts I made as a recipe test the other day.
7. Got my ficathon entry done, and folks seem to like it.
8. I had honest-to-goodness *fanart* done for one of my fic series recently. I'm still delightedly stunned.
9. The cats have been sweet and friendly lately. Yeah, it's cuz the weather's getting cold and they want to sit on me and warm up, but it's still cute.
10. I've been blessed with wonderful friends and family, in a variety of formats, and every day I'm glad of the people in my life. (Obviously, saving the best for last!)
Runner-up happy thing -- Peter Davison will be playing the Doctor alongside David Tennant! The gods like me.
