Wearing: Blue and grey diamond-patterned sweater over a plain blue t-shirt, black jeans, black leather (American) wellington boots (like cowboy boots, but with a rounded toe and a wider heel, for anyone unfamiliar with them), my good black leather belt with the 2" wide dragon buckle, and an Anglo-Saxon style stag pendant on a black cotton cord.
Hair: dark blonde, few bits of grey here and there, waist-length, currently pulled back in a single braid.
Makeup: None. Never. Ever.
Ate today: Apple and a peanut butter and honey sandwich for breakfast; muffin and coffee for lunch; cheese sandwich for a snack; home-made tacos (beef, barley, lentils, mushrooms, cheese, salsa) for late dinner.
Last thing said: "There's a blast from the past." (Referring to Kitaro song playing on the radio, courtesy of LSR.)
Last phone call: Arranging a time to meet a friend and cook an experimental grape-and-raisin tart from a 16th c. German recipe last night.
In your bag: Mail from today, mostly junk, and a folding umbrella.
Last watched on TV: Heroes latest ep (taped, but watched just an hour later).
Plans for today: Since it's 11:23 pm, maybe write some fic and go to bed.
Last thing bought: Groceries.
Listening to: My fave music mix (a personal Doctor Who soundtrack, FWIW), via headphones so as not to disturb LSR with her New Age radio and book.
Last showered: Yesterday evening.
Looking forward to: Sketching out a cool new story idea.
Worst part of the day: Finding out I'm going to have to run the same experimental sequence again!!
Best part of the day: Got my Nine Ficathon piece done and
cathica liked it!
Favourite person of the day: Couldn't pick. Everyone's been great, online and in real life.
Thinking about: Whether I want one more taco, or if I should put the fixin's in the fridge.
Current annoyance: The sole of my foot itches, and it's hard to scratch in boots.
Current obsession: Doctor Who (unchanged from
honorh's post, but still true!)
Random TMI: I think the foot itch indicates a bout of athlete's foot.
Feeling: Fairly mellow.
Hearing: Music mix, as mentioned above.
