Snow???
Snow looks so pretty as it's falling but the next day, as I'm trying not to fall as I fill the various bird feeders, it is far less attractive. I distinctly remember being told that Seattle was an area where the snow was kept on the mountains for the skier/snowboard sets.
I grew up in Detroit. Winter was definitely not my favorite season. I lived for nearly 20 years in Southern California, but once I saw "The Mountain" I knew I wanted GREEN! The colors in the spring and fall are glorious. The summer and all the variations of green delight me. Snow was not involved in any of these items.
Watching the folks trying to get home from their jobs last night was scary. The mail needed to be picked up. Slip-sliding along as I tried to get to the boxes with out landing on the parking lot was... interesting. I have an all day CME class in Puyallup on Thursday. Here's hoping It is warmer and ice free. Icy roads are not my thing,
