Wow
Mike and I had a fantabulous time yesterday. We, indeed, made turkey and stuffing soup. Was v. delicious. We baked the turkey, took the meat off the bones, cut it into chunks (soooo goooood). Chopped all appropriate veggies into big pot, added all-natural, free-range, homemade chicken stock, a bay leave, fresh rosemary, and a few other key ingredients. Then we made some stuffing whilst all that simmered juicily, emitting the best smells ever. Finally, we put a serving of stuffing in each bowl, poured the turkey and veggie soup over the top and had the best meal EVER. Basically, Mike and I think each other are bad-asses...and we are. *elbows* to Mike.
The best part is...we made a SHITTON, which I get to go home and eat soon!
But, first, I have to buy a specific pair of underwear. Don't ask, I just have to. Am nervous though, last time I went to the mall after work to buy an article of clothing on a Monday, I became violently ill in the middle of the night...
AND NOW A DIFFERENT TOPIC, AND THE ONE FOR WHICH THE SUBJECT LINE IS MEANT:
So, that's it then? I'm done. No more class, no more finals, no more random free time on a Tuesday or other mid-week day. Actually, I was done last Thursday, but this is the first time I've been near the LJ with enough time to update.
I had a great four years, it's been fun. The people I dated were great (taught me a lot about myself, the world, pride, respect, and all those good things), and my friends are an amazingly dynamic group of people and I'm proud of all of them.
I say, it's been a unique journey, but I had a damn blast!
