Hi everybody. Sorry it took a while to get back in. In between the back-to-back judging I've been doing (today is Baronial A&S Championship), I'm cat sitting for my sister. The cat has learned to turn the lamp on (has one of those string things), I have to see if I can un-teach it to do that, especially when I'm ready for bed and i want darkness. I don't think this is a smart cat, I think it's a reincarnation of some brilliant person in a past life.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, I can't believe how old I am. some nice friends held a surprise party for me at Fight Practice, with a cake and everything. The cake was decorated with a device on it.....really cool. It's a big cake so I'm bringing it to the event today to share. People are so nice here, I'm lucky.
Anyway, I'm drinking my second cup of coffee (don't do coffee much) and about to go for the third to keep my up for judging the whole day long. Looks like, for once, we have some nice entries here; at least it looks good on paper. For the event (Oktoberfest) I'm going to wear my italian Ren dress since it's the only European thing I have. Wait, I lie, I have two side-less sircoats from the time I first joined. Yikes! I'm glad I know a little bit more about clothes now, then what I did 20 plus years ago.
