Armenian Stew

Making Tourlu (stew) in the crock pot today. It's a really good dish for tourney events. Make it in advance in a slow cooker while you are out all day at work. Pack in palstic baggies, heat in boiling water at camp.

Tourlu instructions:

2 lbs. lamb (shoulder is good)cut in cubes
1/2 C (or what feels good to you) of veggies: small eggplant, green beans, carrots, green pepper, zucinni (any squash), okra (whole).
2 onions
2 sliced tomatoes.
salt, pepper, paprika.

Brown the lamb, don't throw away the bones (will be used for flavouring at bottom of slow cooker) Pour cut veggies in pot, add spices, mix. Add some water. Switch cooker on high to cook 5 hours, low for ten.

That's it!
