[Haiku] To Love You
This is for a literature competition for a forum. You can read this as a singular poem. Each stanza is a haiku. They're not meant to stand alone; they're just there as a rhythmic template. I'm posting them here to show that I can write more than just fanfiction. XD
To Love You
Watching you from here
You don't throw a glance my way
What am I to you?
Yearning for you to
Let me feel and taste your skin
Now I'm cast aside
Call my name again
And I will run forever
Until I'm with you
Your passionate soul
Lights up my world - but do I
Extinguish your flames?
Embrace me, love me
Shelter me from all evil
I'm all that you need
Do you see me now?
Running around in circles
Chewing on your shoe
