THE THINGS I LOVE ABOUT YOU
Your eyes,
they were the first thing
I noticed about you.
They captured my soul.
In the first second you looked at
Me as a woman I was yours.
Your smile,
It lights up my life,
Brings me more peace than the rain.
I could melt in that smile.
I fall in love with you all over again
Every time I see it.
Your fingertips,
The way they linger on my skin,
So gently I can barely feel them
Sometimes.
Other times smoothing over
My body like a sheath.
Your hands,
That show me your love
In a way that words
Never could.
They bring me safety and steadiness.
Thank you for that.
Your body,
The way it holds my attention,
The way your every nuance
Makes me want you even more than
The last time I saw you.
Your feet,
How could I not love them?
They are the part of you
That allows me to show you how much
I love you.
I can spoil you to death
And there's nothing you can do about it.
I love all these things about you,
But what I love the most,
Is the You I fell in love with.
The You that makes me feel like
I can do and be anything I want to.
The You that lets me know
That I will always have someone Standing beside me, helping me
To be strong and catching me when
I can no longer steady myself.

just kiss me today
I'll be by you side

I'll give you all of me
just hold my hand
I'll be here always
just by you I'll stand
I'll do what you wish
just tell me when
I'll try my best just for you
just as I can
Just tell me you want me here
be sure to make it clear
Just tell my everything
and I'll love you, my dear
TO MY DARLIN'
My honey, my darlin' my lover, my sweet,
Isn't it amazing how we just happened to meet.
Our angels are smiling, don't you feel it too?
For they sent you to me and me to you.
My heart, my soul, my life is yours.
My being, like the eagle on the wind, it soars
To always, forever, beyond time standing still,
I'll always be there, I promise I will.
I have no fear of ever being lonely,
Our hearts, our love we give to each only.
If you'll have me forever, I'll be by your side.
This journey together on cloud nine we'll ride.
To the heavens, to the stars, for todays and tomorrows,
I know in my heart we will conquer our past sorrows.
Believe in me, as I believe in you
And our life together will forever be true.

LOVE IS LIKE A ROSE
Love is like a rose
with gentle, tender parts,
Slowly it unfolds
and develops in your heart.
Its beauty can't be tamed,
It's as wild as the wind.
Words can never explain
the feelings held within.
You could be cut by a thorn
and your heart would tend to bleed,
Sometimes it will be torn,
But inside is always a new seed.
There will always be a change,
And yet it grows and grows,
Although it may seem strange,
Love is like a rose.
