Hans Zimmer's Score for POTC: AWE
How many of you have a copy of the film score?
I have been listening to my copy of Hans Zimmer's incredible score frequently for about two weeks now (thank you wynterhawk!), and I have to say that the love themes (there are three of them, including one for Calypso & Davy) are beautiful and truly heartbreaking for me.
As I listen to them, I can just feel the heartache that exists between Calypso and Davy, as well as the longing and deep passion between Elizabeth and Will. (I think the third love theme may be for the pirate way of life as a whole, since it, as Barbossa says, is coming to an end.)
Each theme is truly epic and very deeply romantic. The love themes have actually brought me to tears more than once, because of all the emotions that they convey.
They've become a bit of an obsession for me, really. I keep hearing these themes in my head, and sometimes the emotion I feel in connection with them just wells up inside me. I think it may have something to do with possibly saying goodbye to these characters, which I don't really want to do.
I was just wondering if anyone else loved them and was as moved by them as I am?
