Ever wonder if you work likes you too much..?
Ok, now this is a simple annoyance thing for me, so if you don't want to hear me ranting about it then stop here..
Right, now that no one else but me will ever read this I'll go on.
I'm really starting to get frustrated at work, now this isn't because of lack of hours or to annoying people, it's because I seem to be some sort of tug-of-war rope lately. Now I'm trained in multiple departments, and that's my fault. I put my arm up to work where it was available and it worked, but not it seems that because I'm so eager to work, they all want me, and are fighting over where i work! Now it's not really visible on the service, and they hide it well from me, so if it weren't for my friends I wouldn't be so sure this was happening but it seems both front end and the floor managers want me to themselves.
The worst version of this is Sundays: now normally I worked every sunday on the floor, all good and happy, but lately they had to change things around as others have been working and that shift is being taken and given at a moment's notice. Of cause, this is to the whim of the front end manager, and it seems she doesn't even bother to ell the floor manager that I'm not working until the day before hand, when I'm sitting there thinking it's all worked out! The main problem at the moment is that the guy that has been effectively used to cover my Sunday shift is the one really getting screwed over, neither department seems to want him, but both want me... It's so freaking stupid! If this keeps going there's only going to be more unrest between the two and more people getting screwed over because they can't come to an agreement.
Now if you think I'm just too big of myself then your welcome to that opinion, but the more I see of this, the harder it is to believe otherwise.
Anyway, that's my talk for the day.. and I'm going to just shut my trap again for a while...
