Laid off from my job
So today, just before lunchtime, they called me and few others into the conference room and let us know that we were all laid off. Well, they said laid off, but the HR paperwork all said termination of position with no right to return. I was three weeks shy of 14 years with the company. Ugh. No warning, just BOOM! Fired.
Who knows if the company will survive what is essentially the shutdown of the entire entertainment industry. Lots of variables I have no information on.
Well, time to find the old resume and update that. After I file for unemployment.
