(no subject)
So apparently my friend Jesse had a baby (his wife did, rather), which I just learned from his Facebook profile. That is wonderful. If Jesse were a girl, he'd be my parents' perfect daughter. He's married to a doctor, and now he has a baby.
Meanwhile, my day involved waking up somewhere I shouldn't have, eating too much, and watching TV. There was an attempt at going for a run, but that was really just an excuse for leaving my apartment to get away from my psychotic roommate, aka "Handicapped Space Parker." There also would have been drinking in that list, but this bottle of wine I opened on Friday did not keep well. I probably should have done some actual work today, considering that I brought a laptop home this weekend for that exact purpose, but gee... I didn't.
I had to go to the mall on Friday to pick up something for my mom's package (which will arrive late because I'm an awesome daughter), and I wiped out on the escalator, resulting in a super cool bruise on my knee, which is probably what I deserve for sending the package late. I have assigned Father's Day package duties to Jon.
Ummm... yeah. My life is swell.
