Well, Mexico is going absolutely wonderful. Yet I feel like quite the nerd, because I feel like I want a laptop with me all the time, so I can record the wonderous sights around me. Truly, the Geek is strong in this one.

Well, it seems to me that us mexicans have strange courting rituals. We flirt a lot, but we also know that NOTHING at all is going to happen between two people until you are in a serious relationship.

For example. Where I to start dating someone here, I would be meeting their parents, paying for everything for them, and just being a general teen in the... I don´t know.... 1930´s. I´d be getting a kiss every now and then, but nothing too heavy till I´ve proved my worth by offering to marry the girl (or using my macho advantage, getting her knocked up and then having to marry her).

I exagerate, but not much. Bottom line is.. people here are very conservative... far more than I. If they are happy with life that way, so be it. But those who know me know that conservatism doesn´t fly too well with me.
