Why the FUCK would you say repeatedly that you would happily supply a reference for me, tell me that I'm doing fine and "am where I should be" throughout our working relationship, and on evals, but then when the time comes to put up and do what you said you'd do, you send me an e mail asking if I'm dead set on an ER career or wouldn't you maybe prefer med/surg, or it might suit you better????
I have always wanted an ED job, you know this, I have never been anything other than crystal clear on this point. Are you basically telling me in so many words that you can't or won't give me a good reference now that I have an ER manager that is considering hiring me and my dream is about to come true???!!!
