i love you, holidays
so, i love christmas.
i am a big fat atheist who loves sitting around with her family in fun pyjamas, eating chocolate and spending an entire day caring. and taking part in consumerist gluttony.
it's hokey, sure, but i cannot. be. prickly. all. the. time.
and in that grand tradition of loving the christmas, may i present my annual pictoral christmas desirables wish list. in an ideal world where i would get as much of the stuff i want as i want (ha!), here are my fantasies for this christmas:
what i reallyreally want, oh please oh please:
because i love blackadder. oh, how i do.
a subscription to modern painters magazine.
and this swatch. because i need a new watch and this reaches a whole new pantheon of swiss lunacy, wrapped in primary-coloured cuteness.
and what i would really want if i was feeling reallyreally greedy:
a screenprinting kit to make t-shirts so fine they would make sinatra look like a hobo.
because no one girl needs a set of six different kinds of lightly flavoured lipgloss, but dammit. you know they all secretly want one.
so there you have. my christmas wish list.
