This was it. They'd taken control of the ship Sora had woken up on, the Threshold. And the DRT, the computer that could actually help them get home, was on this ship. With Pixie's help, a lot of people had been teleported to the Ultimatum, where Sora understood that they would all have to work together to take control of this thing.

As his team of friends and allies raced down the hall towards the DRT control room, he quickly found out why...whatever was beyond the soldiers in their path sounded huge, just from the noises echoing within the room.

Of course, clearing out all the opposition wasn't going to be an easy task. There was a horde of Tagruato's soldiers in their path, and more in the actual DRT room beyond. And the first thing the did upon seeing his team arrive was toss more suppressant smoke bombs. Sora was wearing the gas mask he'd grabbed off the guard, so at least the suppressant bombs were not a threat. As soon as the smark cleared, he charged through.

"Outta the way!" Sora warned, swinging the Keyblade wide at the first soldiers in his path.

Negi was glad to see Sora and the others Pixie had brought with her. He wished there was time for a reunion, but now was not it. They could celebrate later once everything was over with.

When they all burst into the control room, Negi was amazed by how big it was. Before he could really appreciate the size however, the guards were on top of them.

Negi was mainly relying on his barrier spell to take care of the gas since it worked nicely at dispelling the gas completely. He was pretty good about holding the spell for long periods and using other spells at the same time. Negi was right behind Sora, using his magic to boost his fighting speed and strength and bowling over most of the guards like they were nothing. When he could, he would also cast the disarm spell, sending weapons, bombs, and gear flying from the guards.

As the guards rushed for the door they discovered a problem with the defenses, when one of the two boys made a call on their radio. Namely the pink and black smoke rolling from inside the DRT room itself. In the center of the room, well behind the front lines of combat. Containing at the center a girl with pink and black hair, shiny green armor, a glowing white knife, and a very friendly and happy grin!

Pixie paused a moment, she brought the cavalry directly into the main battlefield, what a time saver! Before taking off toward one of the guards, knife drawn. "Don't break the fancy computers!" Most people would figure that goes without saying, however Pixie would like that to be clear before anyone starts using attacks too large for the room.

"Don't tell me twice!" Riku smirked in reply, pulling his gas mask down and summoning Testament in a flash of blue and gold.

It was easy for him to notice the bafflement and shock on the soldier's faces when fighters appeared in the opposite direction. "Time's up!" He charged forward and swung hard, knocking a line of unready guards to the floor. As a more distant guard began to reach into a pouch in his vest, Riku lowered his Keyblade and raised his left hand. "I don't think so!" A few blasts of his Dark Firaga sent the poor soldier and two of his nearby playmates flying across the room.

Riku heard a few guns cock. And smiled. The few rounds they managed to fire before Testament slammed into them were made worthless by his charmed bracelet. This was a lot different than Heartless. But the challenge was thrilling.

And then the cavalry arrived. Negi and his best friend came though the door in spectacular fashion. Riku dashed for his comrade. "Sora!"

(OOC: Okay, wanna write half of Eternal Session? Then I write the other half? Also, for a twist, when Riku says, "Is that all you got?" I'd like that to be a playful jab at Sora. Because Riku so will say that. Feel free to have Sora reply.)

Don't break the computers. A warning he hardly needed to be given. After all, if what he had been told was true then that which they found here would be instrumental in their return to their proper worlds. A power he would be glad to help his temporary allies obtain. If they could manage this; could manage to understand how it worked then they would have turned the tide in their favor yet again. One more point in claimed in their favor and another turn their captors would be forced to react to.

But while that was all well and good there were far more immediate matters that needed his attention, blades flashing into his hands. The guards might scoff at them, but he was not yet willing to risk his lightnings in a place so close to delicate equipment.

Instead, he merely smiled as the guards begin to train their guns on him... and vanished in a blur of blackness, only to reappear behind them, blades already swinging at their (comparatively) unprotected backs, and rather neatly taking them out of the fight.

Sora threw a thumbs-up to Negi as the young wizard charged in with them. He felt a magical strength spurring him onwards, even beyond the excitement in his heart. There would be time for reunions later, once they had taken care of these guys!

He saw Pixie bring in even more of the cavalry behind them, inside the computer room itself. The guards were distracted by this new wave of Manhattanites, allowing him and the others to push into the DRT room. Sora had guessed right...the room was huge. He was actually glad to get the warning from Pixie, as otherwise he might've been caught up in fighting and smashed something accidentally.

In the melee, he actually caught sight of Xemnas, using his blades and teleportation powers to take out another round of guards. Sora managed something like a grin...he never thought he'd actually be fighting alongside Xemnas, even in this world. Time to show him as well as these Tagruato guys what they could do!

And he got that opportunity when he spotted Riku come in with Pixie. "Riku! Let's go!"

With his friend there, and with a horde of heavily-armed soldiers between them, Sora immediately jumped up and began a joint attack with Riku. Drawing on his friend's power, he sliced through a wall of steel shields, meeting up with Riku halfway.

"Is that all you got?" Riku teased him, and Sora just smirked back. Letting his Keyblade do the talking, he and Riku proceeded with a series of super-fast jabs at the nearest soldier raising his weapon at him. When that man fell, five more jumped up to take his place, and Sora stepped back to allow Riku to use a little bit of his power. Together, they created a storm of bright bolts that zeroed in on their opponents and put them down.

"That and a lot more!" Sora joked back at Riku.

"Don't break the fancy computers!" was all the warning they got before the cavalry was dropped straight into the middle of the battlefield. Rosette figured it would be an easy enough warning to heed.

Until she got a look at the "fancy computers" and realized they lined several walls and took up a good deal of floor. Damn. She made her way towards a wall, finding a position with more protection than the open floor and laying down cover fire, being careful of her aim and the calibration of the Tetragrammation gun.

She aimed, fired, and watched for a split second of utter shock as the shot easily bored a neat hole through a guard's shield and kevlar. Damn she was still not used to this gun-

And then she snapped back to reality and ducked back behind her cover, taking out the stragglers the other combatants missed and trying not to be in too much awe of Sora and Riku's teamwork.

Negi was constantly switching between fighting with the moves Ku Fei had taught him enhanced with magic and just casting spells to disarm the guards and making them easier targets for the others.

It was after a few moments that he realized that this room was actually big enough to fly in. Negi hopped onto his staff and took to the air, already thinking of an idea. It would be hard to fire off light arrows if he was on the ground as it risked hitting a computer.

However, from the air he could easily rain them down on the guards.

Light began to gather in Negi's hand as he chanted from the air and very few guards seemed to have realize that there was an attack coming from this direction. Light rained down from the heavens in a concentrated attack, striking the guards from a position they couldn't defend from.

A gust of air filled part of the room as Goofy flew through, hovering in the air and spinning like a living tornado, his shield smacking some soldiers who got too close, while the rest where sent flying by his wind stream.

Even the guards of Tagruato, hardened men and women who had ruthlessly imprisoned some of the most powerful beings in the multiverse for almost a year, had to just pause and stare at the sheer absurdity of that sight.

And when they did, Donald Duck hit them with a lightning bolt.

Don’t break the computers. No kidding. Not that he was worried about that. Light may not be an easy power, but it was certainly less destructive. But with Sora to demonstrate how to use it effortlessly and his own ability to demonstrate darkness, this would be kid stuff. His best friend wasn’t the only one to feel such a drive and thrill.

In passing Riku saw the power of Rosette’s weapon. Now THAT’S a gun. Negi’s attacks were a perfect balance between magic and physical fighting. It was a brilliant way of making sure he didn’t exhaust either of his skills. Donald and Goofy were in rare form. And the fact that Donald was not only conscious, but making short work of their enemies made even Riku smile.

Though Xemnas being around made it a guarded smile. Even if they fought together, he still kept an eye on him. It would be easy to destroy all his enemies when this battle was done. The Nobody was as fast as ever and still ever as powerful.

Riku passed Sora again when they resummoned their Keyblades. Seeing Sora use darkness the way he did, yet remain untempted to pursue it was both intriguing and comforting to Riku. He feigned thinking Sora was all-talk. Humming a short laugh, Riku replied, “Yeah, right. I’ll take ‘em!”

And then came Kang’s spell. Riku was already light on his feet, but it felt as if he could fly. The teen felt almost weightless by comparison. Such effortless speed and control was a rush. “Thanks!” His comment was somewhat hushed, but still audible.

Placing their strength into their Keyblade’s power, their blades quadrupled in length and glowed brightly. Their reach was profound as they moved around each other. When one moved his blade to the other, he stood behind his friend. In this way he continued to pour power into his own Keyblade, regardless of whether they held it at the time. Both boys easily proved their skills in dual-wielding.

The two thrust their hands up in the air and summoned swords of light that surrounded them. The attack quickly mowed down surrounding guards sliced through the defenses of the next wave. With gestures of their Keyblades they hurled the ethereal blades wide, and they passed harmlessly through everything that wasn’t an enemy.

But many of the guards had little idea how much pain they were about to feel. As the boys passed each other again they hurled Ultima Weapon and Testament into the air. There was vehemence in Riku’s voice.

“Prepare to lose it all!”

Pixie moved through the room casually touching various guards. She didn't need to be all that forceful since Mr. Stark gave a few fixes and refits to the armor. The first being a gas mask. The primary form of transit into and out of combat needed to be able to continue, so she was given defenses from the suppressant.

The second was that Mr. Stark took apart a few tasers and fixed them into the armor as a new weapons system allowing her to electrocute things by touch. Which was a simple and safe way to deal with the guards. She didn't have to use her dagger and worry about uneeded killing! Totally safe!

"Please stop shooting at me, someone could get hurt when the bullets ricochet," considering how nice this warning was you might wonder if she realized what was going on. However with all the shooting she felt it best to keep moving. No point in letting them keep firing. However she noticed she felt faster, so she moved faster. Even with the armor she felt like she was as light and fast as in normal clothes. So she zipped through the guards with her simple and casual movements, electrocuting them one after another.

She did occasionally say sorry to them, but she did warn them about firing guns. Someone could get hurt!

Sora's exhilaration rose as he and Riku prepared to finish off their joint attack. They threw their Keyblades into the air, creating a vortex of power between them. Any guard unlucky enough to be within this wide ring was immediately sucked in and pummeled with a relentless stream of magic and pressure. By the time All's End finished, seven guards lay completely unconscious on the ground, and two had vanished completely.

Sora grabbed back Ultimaweapon as Riku took back Way to the Dawn, and bumped fists with him in a gesture of triumph. Man, did it feel good to be fighting like this again!

As if all that wasn't enough, the moment they finished the attack (one that usually forced Sora to pause for air for a second), Kang came by them and cast a haste spell over their entire group. While Sora himself never used haste spells, he could instantly recognize it...he felt lighter, faster, as if his feet barely needed to touch the ground for him to get anywhere. "Thanks!" he called back to the draconian, a wide grin on his face.

Everyone was throwing in their strongest attacks! Rosette's gun was doing incredible damage (he'd never seen a gun that powerful before!), Pixie was using her electricity to incapacitate anyone she touched, Goofy's tornado and Donald's magic was cutting through ranks everywhere they went, and Negi had taken on an excellent vantage point for magic. Between all of their efforts, a good chunk of the guards had been completely taken out of the picture. They were so close to taking control of the room!

Roy, unlike the others, was strolling through the room at a leisurely pace. Sure, the room was a battlefield, but he didn't see the need to overexert himself. One hand in his pocket, he snapped constantly at the guards around him, smirking as they fell prey to the small explosions. He controlled them just enough to make sure the computers and his allies weren't harmed, but besides that, they were popping up everywhere.

He almost felt sorry for these guards, but they'd surely known what they'd been getting themselves into. But even if they didn't, they'd attacked, and that didn't go unnoticed, just as it wouldn't go unpunished. They had initiated a war, and that's what they'd gotten. They'd overestimated their ability to keep their "subjects" in line, and they were going to pay for it.

He noticed Sora and Riku perform a fancy team-up move and had to smirk, those two truly knew how to work together.

Negi touched down on the ground again and noticed Kang casting a spell as well. Suddenly, he felt a lot faster. It was then that he remembered that he could probably use his shindou now. Focusing his magic into his feet, Negi concentrated on the space he wanted to move to and in a split second he was there. It had worked, and with haste he was moving as fast as Kaede would have.

Negi switched back to his martial arts moves and took out some of the guards that were lining up in the walkways above the floor. He knew it'd be bad if they took them from above. So much was going on down below, it was almost baffling.

They had to be winning right?

The mage noticed more guards heading Sora's way and jumped/teleported back to his location. It wasn't actually teleporting, but he was moving so fast it looked like it. "Hey, Sora, care to lend me a hand?"

Quite a showing they had gathered. But that was, perhaps to be expected. Surely everyone would wish to see such an important piece of the puzzle that kept them here out of Tagrauto's hands. It would mean they were one step closer to that which they all desired.

Of course, even despite the fact that their joint effort seemed to be having a great effect he was not letting such an excellent display go to waste. Why should he, when people were so freely showing off that which they could do. He might never use the information he was gathering here, but that was no reason not to do so.

Nor was it a reason to leave the fighting to those who had joined him in this endeavor. He would not let them see him as a coward. Not when there were yet enemies that had not been taken care of. He had only begun to fight.

"Bind!"

It was the only warning the guards would have before a tangle of vines that seemed to be made out of darkness itself shot directly into their midst. Vines that seemed to not be inclined to stop coming any time soon. But that was only the distraction; a second copy of him (or was the one with the vines the copy?) swooping in from behind the guards, blades flashing down relentlessly. There could be no mercy.
