Vyers made his way through the lobby of the hotel as quietly as he could, pressing himself to the wall whenever he thought he heard footsteps. There were plenty of residents in the hotel that he knew of, and he was fairly certain that it wouldn't matter if about half of those he knew of managed to discover him, but there was still always that chance that the one approaching would be one of the people he had gone to check in on.
And it really had been quite awhile since he had checked on them, hadn't it? Ah, there were too many mysteries in this city and too much going on. He had lost track of time! But now was the time to rectify that situation.
Although... he had no idea where Laharl and his friends were staying in the hotel.
