The rest of Saix's day after his brief meeting with Freudia and the whole rest of the next day had been spent being as productive as he could manage. He was still not willing to completely abandon the hope that he would be able to make it back 'home' but any ideas that such a feat would be accomplished in the near future were replaced by the knowledge that he would have to get his feet under him on this new world first. He could have very easily have set himself to hunting Axel down and making an attempt at introducing his insides to the outside world just to regain a sense of validation but... common sense told him that he would need to reconsider his priorities if he didn't want to die a third time. He'd made good use of the first internet cafe he came across and very quickly discovered that it wasn't only Axel who was present, which wasn't exactly a comforting thought, but it wasn't a horrible one either. Freudia had also been correct in what information she'd provided him. But that was even less comforting.
He'd headed south after that, more or less following a line of rubble until he came to a point in which the street became practically impassable; the sign read the cross road was 23rd Street. From what he could see further down the street he was on now, the road was equally as blocked. At a loss, he started down 23rd Street; it looked to be in decent enough repair compared to where he had just come from, so it stood to reason that he might stand a better chance of finding someone worth talking to.
