Characters: Raiel and Garnet (with Hamel putting in an appearance).
Content: Happy reunion?! They're both really glad to see the other is safe oh also Garnet has told him she will give him the update on some of the hijinks she was unfortunate enough to get tangled up in.
Location: Out in front of the Bryant Park Hotel
Time of day: Afternoon on the day of
this post.
Warnings: They'll probably be alternately cute and depressing 8|a Also blood (It's RAIEL and Garnet) and comic violence thanks Hamel.
Raiel sat outside the hotel, waiting for Garnet, just like he'd said he would. The piano was with him, laying flat on the sidewalk beside him, and he was leaning back against the building, one leg bent, elbow resting on his knee, staring off into space across the street while he waited for the sounds of life to catch his attention.
He was considering the past week or so. Good points: Garnet was alive and okay, the Hotel hadn't been caught in the last attack, Ha-chan was here. Bad points: Garnet couldn't give out her address for fear of putting herself in danger from something, there was more than one monster, Ha-chan was here. In fact, he'd walked right past Ha-chan to come wait out here; he was probably still moping in the lobby, mourning the loss of his violin. (Raiel was hoping that would keep him busy so that he wouldn't end up coming out to bother him. It was definitely not time yet for Garnet to meet Hamel.)
The other bad news was that Raiel probably didn't look so good. Oh sure he looked put-together, he always looked put-together, today it was the scarf and the sweater and the slacks and the Converse, orange and green and white and orange, his hat and gloves conspicuously absent. But he looked exhausted. He'd spent so much of the past couple days alternately searching for Garnet and worrying about her when he couldn't find her, and the addition of Ha-chan just added another layer of worry to it all. Suffice to say he hadn't gotten much sleep the past couple days and it was starting to show. Maybe tonight he'd finally be able to catch up on it, provided Hamel didn't try to pull anything weird.
