Waiting was not something that Ino was very good at.
To be honest, Ino believed that waiting for... well, anything, really, was for people who didn't have the looks, the brains, or the talent to make things happen. She certainly had the looks and the talent, and she wasn't stupid by any means, so... where was everyone?
"So dumb," she huffed, flipping her hair out of her eyes as she scanned the street for any sign of life. She had sent out her message, asking for help, and yet where were all the boys clamoring to come to her aid? Even if the place was really as big of a dump as it looked, that was no excuse for the lack of response. If she was only back in Konoha....
Her annoyed expression faded for a moment, replaced by a rare worried look. Ino wasn't the type of girl to worry about things that she obviously couldn't change, and yet she couldn't help but to feel a twinge of regret when she thought of her village. It wasn't her fault that she had been pulled away from it--given a choice, she would have definitely preferred to stay and help her father and Shizune-san--but she couldn't help but to feel as if she was letting everyone down.
But, she consoled herself, trying to wipe the obviously unattractive expression off of her face, there were others there who could handle it; Konoha was full of capable, talented shinobi. Everything would be fine. What she had to worry about was her current situation, which... was anything but pleasant.
At least she had one boy who was coming to help her. Besides, maybe more boys would show up, as well.
...She hoped so.
