It was still cold out. Not as cold as it had been, and certainly not as cold as last winter, but it was still cold. There was slush still on the pavements from the previous snowfall, and even small patches of ice. So the fact that he'd left his winter poncho behind was probably a very bad thing. He hadn't meant to - it had slipped his mind, like many other things recently.

His stomach had been hurting all day, and he had been getting dizzy. The small crow anima didn't know where Yoko had gone, he couldn't remember (she had told him, but Cooro hadn't really been paying attention). He hoped she had gone to get some food, but she had been gone a few hours, and Cooro's stomach just kept getting louder and louder. He had to fix it. One way or another.

So he'd taken to the streets in the hope of finding something to placate his stomach and stop his head from reeling. He'd faced hardship before, with his friends, so this should be easy for him! Right? Blinking down the cold street, Cooro lifted his hands to his arms and rubbed them, trying to stay warm. His wings would really help here, but when he activated them, his head started hurting a lot more - so much so that he had to crouch, and wrap his wings around him. He was really dizzy, the world was spinning around him, and it was making him feel really sick.

Shaking it off, Cooro stood up - swaying ever so slightly - before he continued to walk a little shakily down the street, his huge black wings wrapped around him for warmth. If he didn't find food soon, he was sure his stomach would eat itself!

The small boy walked a few more blocks, before another dizzy spell hit him. He crouched again, trying desperately to shake it - like he did last time - before everything went dark, and he collapsed on the ground in a small, feathery heap.

yachiru, cooro
