Renji had failed to find a space heater when he'd "run into" Maka but that was by no means a reason to give up. This time he didn't want to risk his shinigami form, it cost too much energy and after awhile it was hard for him to move in his spirit form. So, he was making it on foot this time. The snow was difficult to move in with his gigai but it beat running out of energy. Renji was bundled up fairly well too which definitely affected his balance. He was passing near one of the parks when he noticed a form moving around in the snow ahead.

He tensed up, gloved fingers tightening on his red bat, it could be a crab...it was hard to tell with the snowfall blurring his vision. Renji moved cautiously until he got close enough to make out aqua hair and a familiar outfit, "A senshi...like Minako," he muttered. "HEY! YOU NEED SOME HELP," he shouted, knowing Minako would probably be grateful if he helped a friend of hers.

Sailor Neptune was doing her best to keep her mind off of the frigid temperatures... But there was only so much she could do. She turned around as someone called out to her from a little ways away. She could hardly make out the shape of the man through the falling snow, but if he was offering help...

It was a strange situation, one that called for her to be polite and accept help when offered. "Only if you can fill me in on what's happened," she replied as she neared him. (She disliked yelling when it wasn't necessary.)

He was a good deal taller than she, and wore much more clothing at the moment. She folded her arms over her torso and shivered slightly as she waited for a reply.

Renji drew closer and realized that he had been correct and she really was in a similar outfit to Minako, though the colors and some of the other details were different. He also realized that that outfit could NOT be helpful in this weather at all. "I can tell you what I know," he replied with a frown, "but that isn't much." Renji looked around, surely there was a place with blankets or jackets around here...screw a space heater at the moment this woman looked like she was about to freeze to death.

Plus, the fact that it was quickly getting darker with the shorter daylight hours of winter Renji wasn't too keen on how much the temperature would drop then. "Snowy streets probably aren't the best place to have this conversation," he muttered, looking up at the snow falling from the sky and rubbing the back of his neck.

He returned his gaze to the woman, "I'm Abarai Renji by the way...you...wouldn't happen to know a young woman named Aino Minako would you?"

Sailor Neptune nodded her head slowly. Well... he knew something, so that had to be helpful. She smiled politely at him and nodded her head. "That would be wonderful... inside somewhere, even, would be even better."

She continued to smile as he introduced himself. "Sailor Neptune," she replied before he continued. Her eyes widened slightly. "Minako-chan? Er.... Yes.. I am. It would seem we have a mutual acquaintance, then?"

So she wasn't alone, at least. Minako was here. That was better than nothing...
