Project Daisychain Endgame Setup

The curtain is down, and the full plot behind everything that has happened in Manhattan has been revealed. There is no turning back.

Your characters have lost another day; no one has any memory of the previous day ever occurring. Not that it matters, as your characters don't wake up in their own beds. In fact, they don't even wake up on Manhattan Island.

The Tagruato Corporation has decided they cannot afford to let anyone else run free and have stepped in for their final move: in that missing day, every character has been taken prisoner.

Your characters have been randomly divided into groups of four and assigned a cell room on board one of the three aircraft carriers in use by the Tagruato Corporation: the U.S.S. Threshold (CV-102), the U.S.S. Pinnacle (CV-108), and the U.S.S. Ultimatum (CV-109). Check the cut below to see which ships and which cell rooms your characters have been assigned to.

Keep in mind that there are no computers in any of the cells, and characters with radios have had those taken away. From here on out, all interactions between characters must be third-person logs. We strongly encourage you to use chat and the OOC board to talk to the other muns in your cell room and on board your carrier to plot out your interactions. More information on your characters’ situation within the cells is in the Endgame Day One post.

On top of being locked up, every single character has been injected with a sample of the advanced crab virus, or DSN-A051. Within one day, every character will begin to feel the effects of the virus. Within six days they’ll be bedridden and coughing up blood, and within ten days they’ll be in a coma. The only exceptions to this will be characters that have received Luis’s vaccine...this will help stave off symptoms for about three more days. However, three days later they’ll start suffering the same effects as everyone else. The Tagruato Corporation is expecting to imprison every character until the disease runs its course, when they will then be transported to a location where they can safely transform into the corporation's new weapons.

The clock is ticking. Your characters have limited time to escape, find the Healers and fight back against their captors before they are too sick to take action. While the situation seems hopeless, your characters are not completely without options. In their haste to secure all their prisoners and keep them all in such a limited space, it's likely the Tagruato Corporation has overlooked something.

What's more, located on board every aircraft carrier is a unique room or area that may assist your characters...not only in defeating the corporation, but also in returning them to their own universes. If your characters can manage to gain access to any one of these three locations, they can turn the tide against their captors. If they can gain access to all three, victory is certain. Check below the cut to find out what these mystery locations are.

On board the U.S.S. Threshold, in the very bottom decks of the ship, there is a large storage facility full of syringes of a strange blue liquid. This blue liquid is, in fact, the antidote to the power suppressant that every character has been given. If injected, it will fully restore one character's special powers. Gaining control of this location means potentially restoring the special powers of everyone on board the Threshold.

On board the U.S.S. Pinnacle, on the captain's deck, there is a strange computer control room. This computer is where the corporation controls all three of the monsters through voice and typed commands. Gaining control of this location means potentially having control over all of the monsters’ movements and actions.

On board the U.S.S. Ultimatum, in one of the lower decks towards the bow, there is another strange computer room. This computer contains the DRT: the Dimensional Relocation Terminal, or the machine that commands the dimensional coordinates for every character in Manhattan. Gaining control of this location means having command of the central hub: any person existing in Manhattan will be transported to the Ultimatum or to anywhere in the city instantly. The DRT also has the power to send every character back to their home dimension. There is also a large storage facility down in the hull where all of your characters' special possessions -swords, guns, weapons, and more- have been dropped.

Be forewarned: all three of these locations are extremely well-guarded, and cannot be operated without the help of a Tagruato technician. Aside from the secret locations, there are also labs and other sources of information on each ship. Characters might find out info on the parasite crabs and the deep sea nectar virus on the Threshold. Info about the Cloverfield monsters themselves can be found in labs on the Pinnacle. And lastly, information on this Manhattan and the different dimensions is filed away on the Ultimatum.

Guards and technicians alike do not have supernatural powers, but they are armed with tranquilizer guns, tasers and normal guns. While they want to keep as many test subjects alive as possible, they've been authorized to use deadly force if necessary. Not to mention the fact that your characters are all still locked up and split up across three different ships.

Escape and triumph will be anything but simple. The time for personal vendettas and old rivalries is past...your characters must all unite against a common enemy, or they will all perish.

There's no time to waste, Manhattanites. Suffer a long and agonizing death...or strike back!
