::daisychain week fourteen::
"Manhattan is a narrow island off the coast of New Jersey devoted to the pursuit of lunch." - Raymond Sokolov
This if the first week of October, 2008.
During Week 14...
Things continue to be relatively quiet, with no appearances from the monster since her attack on the city a couple of weeks ago, but it's an uneasy truce at best. The crabs are still out and about in numbers, which means residents should take care to travel in numbers as well. Doug, Dahlia Hawthorne, Alphonse Elric, Zack Fair, and Miles Edgeworth are all bitten this week.
Madison Square Garden continues to be haven for the injured and those citizens who aren't ready to look for new homes yet, as well as the place to go to pick up what rations and supplies are left. Although search parties have been sent out, few new supplies have been recovered thus far.
The weather is sunny but on the chilly side; citizens would be well-advised to start bundling up. The trees in the parks and on some sidewalks are beginning to change color.

Someone is not feeling optimistic about survival. Bold messages appeared overnight before Sunday all over the sidewalks surrounding Madison Square Garden:
NO HOPE
DOGS EAT DOGS
NO FOOD, NO HOPE, TWO MONTHS AND COUNTING

We at Daisychain have another special announcement to make--as of August, Project Daisychain has officially been in play for six months! Thank you all so much for playing with us! We are really grateful to all of you for your applications and your activity and your enthusiasm, and everything that has made the past six months so fun.
To celebrate our anniversary and by popular demand, we've decided to up the character limit by one--players are now allowed to app and play six characters instead of five. Remember to use your own judgment, of course, in deciding how many characters you can keep up with. Players are still expected to abide by the one-post-per-week-on-rpg-comm rule, for ALL characters.
As always, if you have any suggestions on how to improve the game or any concerns about anything in the game, please bring them to your mods! We always want to hear feedback as well as hear about your experiences playing here. Once again, thank you so much for your participation, and here's to the next six months!
