During Week 13...
It goes without saying that Manhattan is still reeling from the destruction wrought by Big Mommy late last week. Entire neighborhoods lie in ruin-- apartments, landmarks and supply centers streets all torn to rubble by the raging monster. Hundreds of survivors are now homeless and scores were injured in the attack. For the time being, recovery efforts have been centralized in the area of Madison Square Garden, nearby the ruins of Hotel Pennsylvania. The arena has become a makeshift hospital and disaster shelter, and the sole remaining supply center has shipped most of its supplies there to deal with the now-homeless.
In this trying time, a call has been made for all able-bodied citizens to volunteer their time and energy and help their fellow displaced and downtrodden. There are any number of ways for citizens to help out; only by banding together will the survivors be able to get back on their feet.
Big Mommy has thankfully vanished for the time being, presumably to the waters around the island to cool herself. Unfortunately, in her wake as usual are a veritable herd of parasite crabs numbering in the hundreds and scavenging what's left of East and Greenwich villages for an easy meal. Citizens on the move are warned to keep a close eye out and travel in groups, but with the widespread destruction, shelter in the area is hard to find. Minako, Dr. Cid, Tron, Dilandu, Lavi, Harry Dresden, Kanda, Rosette, Wolf and Godot are bitten. As usual, players should read the monster faq on the mod journal or ask the mods directly if they have any questions how this will work.
As though to supplement the mood around the city, the week's weather begins with a long rainstorm that lasts on and off until Tuesday. Midweek is cloudy and humid, and hopefully by the weekend we'll see some sun through the clouds.
Graffiti
If there was any new graffiti, Mommy tore it down.
