Day 235

Sep 02, 2006 09:24

So if Figgy comes when Kaden did, she'll arrive on September 21st. That sounds fine to me. That gives me four days to recover before we go out to dinner for our anniversary and three whole weeks before we introduce her to everyone at my birthday party. And it's a nice birthday, isn't it? But I'm trying to be open to the fact that she could come ( Read more... )

All babies are different. Alyssa was supposedly 2 weeks early, and Daschel was 10 days late. He decided he REALLY liked it in there and he was not intent on coming out. Otherwise, we may have had a repeat of the norwegian_wood baby who was born at home at week 45 and weighed over 10 lbs. Yipes.

You do know that babies laugh at plans, don't you? ;)

We're going to have to do some working around for that. I have that craft fair that day and I'm there until 3. We will probably need to call a sitter and Chris and Alex can come out.

That'd be fine; I'm guessing the party will go till dinnerish anyway.

I'd also been pondering whether all of us (you, Alex, Me, Dan, gracemarie, Chris and the kiddies) might go bowling some Sunday afternoon. Maybe the 24th, if I haven't had Little Figgy by then. We'd have to figure out everyone's schedule, but that might provide a low-key atmosphere for them to talk without it being too much like a date.

He talked to Chris a few weeks ago and he seemed interested.

It was funny because Alex said something about Scott, and I was like, "Well, it's her friend, maybe she thinks she'd like Chris more." :)

Actually, I wouldn't be averse to taking her to the Madison on a night Chris would be there and singing either. :)

Scott would be great, too. I'd like to get them together to play tennis. Maybe 2 x 2 with Dan and Alex if you know of an indoor court. But I just thought Chris had such a great, sincere, gentle type of personality. Anyway, the more options the better, IMHO.

Chris is a really nice guy. To tell you the truth, I'd met him a couple of times before, but I hadn't talked to him as much as I had when we had Alex's party.
